17.3" FHD IPS laptop with Intel Core i5-1035G1, 20GB DDR4, 2TB PCIe SSD, Windows 11 Pro, fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 6 and backlit keyboard
Model 20GB/2TB W11P
This ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 ships with Windows 11 Pro already installed and a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor that reaches 3.6 GHz. The 17.3 inch Full HD IPS panel runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution and 60 Hz, while Intel UHD integrated graphics handles everyday visual tasks. Twenty gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD give ample space for multitasking and large files.
The chassis provides one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, two USB 2.0 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, one HDMI output and a micro SD card reader. Wireless connectivity uses Wi-Fi 6 AX201 and Bluetooth 5.1, so check that your router and peripherals support those standards. A 720p webcam, fingerprint reader and combo audio jack round out the built-in interfaces. No optical drive is included.
The silver aluminium lid and deck measure 16.00 by 10.06 by 0.62 inches and weigh 5.06 pounds. A 45 W power adapter charges the 3-cell 47 Wh battery, which is integrated and not user-replaceable. The backlit keyboard includes a dedicated numeric keypad for spreadsheet work. Memory uses a mixed configuration of 4 GB soldered plus a 16 GB SO-DIMM, limiting future upgrades to a single slot.
