Questions about this item

Is the 8 GB DDR4 SO-DIMM module user-replaceable for future memory upgrades?

The 8 GB DDR4 SO-DIMM sits in a removable slot, so it can be swapped for a higher-capacity module; the 4 GB portion is soldered on-board and cannot be changed.

Which component hits its thermal ceiling first during prolonged heavy workloads?

The Intel UHD integrated graphics shares the CPU package and typically reaches its thermal limit before the i5-1035G1 cores do.

How loud does the cooling fan get and what is the battery drain when the laptop runs all day?

The 45 W power supply and 47 Whr battery mean the fan spins up audibly under sustained load and the battery lasts only a few hours at full tilt.
