17.3" FHD IPS laptop with 20 GB RAM

The ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 is a 17.3 inch Full HD IPS laptop powered by a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor running at 1.00 GHz with a 3.6 GHz turbo frequency. It comes with 20 GB of DDR4 memory, a 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD paired with a 1 TB hard drive, and Intel UHD integrated graphics. Windows 10 Home 64-bit is pre-installed.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This configuration suits users who need a large 17.3 inch screen, generous 20 GB DDR4 memory, and a combined 3 TB of storage for everyday productivity, web browsing, and media consumption. Buyers who require a dedicated graphics processor for gaming or GPU-accelerated creative work should consider a different system. The single USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port and two USB 2.0 ports may limit users with many high-speed peripherals.

Deciding specification: 20 GB DDR4 memory

The 20 GB DDR4 memory (4 GB onboard plus a 16 GB SO-DIMM) is the specification that determines whether this laptop matches your workload. It supports multitasking with many browser tabs, office applications, and light content creation simultaneously. If your workflow demands more system memory than 20 GB, this model will not meet that requirement.
