17.3" FHD IPS laptop for everyday work

The ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 combines a 17.3 inch Full HD IPS display with an Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor, 20GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout of 512GB PCIe SSD plus 2TB HDD. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and includes a backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. The integrated Intel UHD graphics handle office applications and media playback without a discrete GPU.

Best for office users who need a large screen

This configuration suits professionals and students who want a spacious display for documents and spreadsheets, together with fast boot times and large local capacity for files. Buyers who require dedicated graphics for gaming, video editing or 3D rendering should consider a different system. The 20GB memory is not user-expandable beyond the installed modules.

512GB PCIe SSD plus 2TB HDD dual storage

The primary specification that determines suitability is the combined storage arrangement: a 512GB NVMe drive for the operating system and frequently used programs, paired with a 2TB mechanical drive for bulk data. This split gives both responsiveness and capacity in a single chassis. If your workflow needs only solid-state storage or a different capacity balance, another model will fit better.
