17.3" FHD Laptop for Daily Work

The ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 combines a 17.3 inch Full HD IPS display with an Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor, 8GB DDR4 memory, and dual storage comprising a 256GB PCIe SSD and a 2TB HDD. It runs Windows 11 Pro and includes a fingerprint reader, backlit keyboard, Wi-Fi 6 AX201, and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.

Suits Large-Screen Office Users.

This laptop fits buyers who want a spacious 1920 x 1080 panel for documents, web browsing, and video calls, backed by ample hard-drive capacity for local files. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics cannot handle modern gaming, 3D rendering, or GPU-accelerated workloads, so buyers needing dedicated graphics should look elsewhere.

Dual-Drive Layout Decides Fit

The 256GB NVMe SSD holds the operating system and active applications for quick boot and load times, while the 2TB mechanical drive provides bulk space for media libraries and backups. If a single large solid-state drive is required, this configuration does not meet that need.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The box contains the laptop, a 45 W power adapter and a 3-cell 47 Wh battery; no optical drive is included so external media must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the 256 GB PCIe SSD plus 2 TB HDD or a larger single drive?

The dual-drive layout gives 256 GB NVMe speed for Windows 11 Pro and apps while the 2 TB HDD stores large files; no other capacity is offered.

What does the 3.6 GHz turbo frequency mean in daily use?

The Core i5-1035G1 can boost to 3.6 GHz on up to four cores for short bursts, speeding web browsing and office tasks before returning to the 1.00 GHz base.
