17.3-inch FHD laptop with 36GB DDR4

The ASUS VivoBook 17.3-inch laptop pairs a 10th Generation Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor with 36GB of DDR4 memory, combining 4GB onboard and a 32GB SO-DIMM module. Storage consists of a 256GB SATA SSD plus a 1TB hard drive. It ships with Windows 10 Home and includes a fingerprint reader, backlit keyboard, Wi-Fi 6 AX201 and Bluetooth 5.1.

Suited to office multitasking and media consumption

The four-core CPU at 1.00GHz base and 3.6GHz turbo, 36GB RAM and dual-drive layout handle document workloads, web browsing and video playback on the 1920 x 1080 IPS panel. Buyers who need discrete graphics for gaming, content creation or GPU-accelerated applications will not be served by the integrated Intel UHD graphics.

Integrated Intel UHD graphics only

The sole graphics engine is the processor's integrated Intel UHD solution, which shares system memory and targets everyday productivity rather than 3D rendering or modern gaming. If your workflow demands a dedicated GPU, this configuration cannot meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Can the 32 GB SODIMM be swapped for a larger DDR4 module later?

The 32 GB SODIMM occupies the single upgrade slot; the remaining 4 GB is soldered onboard and cannot be removed.

What component reaches its limit first during prolonged heavy workloads?

The Intel UHD integrated graphics shares system memory and thermal budget with the 4-core i5-1035G1, so graphics-intensive tasks saturate that shared envelope first.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when the 45 W adapter runs the system all day?

The 47 Wh 3-cell battery and 45 W power supply feed a 17.3 inch IPS panel and quad-core processor; sustained loads raise keyboard-deck temperature and fan speed noticeably.
