17.3-inch FHD IPS display laptop

The ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 is a 17.3-inch laptop with a 1920 x 1080 IPS panel. It runs on a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor with 36GB DDR4 memory. Storage combines a 1TB SATA SSD and a 1TB HDD. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This suits users needing a large screen for office work, study or media viewing with ample dual-drive storage. Integrated graphics and a 60Hz panel make it unsuitable for buyers who want high-refresh gaming or GPU-accelerated rendering.

36GB DDR4 memory configuration

The system ships with 36GB DDR4 RAM composed of 4GB onboard plus a 32GB SO-DIMM. This fixed layout means buyers who want a different capacity or a fully user-replaceable memory arrangement should consider other models.

Questions about this item

What accessories are included in the box and what must I buy separately?

The box contains the laptop, 45W power adapter and documentation; no external mouse, sleeve or additional storage drives are included.

Should I choose the S712JA-WH54 with 36GB RAM and 1TB SSD plus 1TB HDD or a lower-capacity version?
