17.3-inch laptop for everyday productivity

The ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 pairs a 10th-generation Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor with 8GB of DDR4 memory. It runs Windows 11 Home on a 1TB SATA SSD supplemented by a 1TB hard drive. The 17.3-inch Full HD IPS panel suits office work, study and media consumption.

Integrated graphics limit 3D workloads

The Intel UHD integrated GPU shares system memory and targets 2D tasks, video playback and light creative work. It cannot deliver playable frame rates in modern games or accelerate heavy GPU compute. External monitor support is available through the HDMI port at up to the panel's native resolution.

8GB memory with 4GB soldered

The configuration uses 4GB of onboard memory plus a 4GB SO-DIMM, so only one slot can be upgraded. Buyers who need more than 12GB total RAM should consider a different model.
