ASUS VivoBook 17.3" FHD IPS Laptop

The ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 is a 17.3-inch laptop designed for everyday productivity and media consumption. It runs Windows 11 Home on a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor with four cores and a 3.6 GHz turbo frequency. The large IPS display and full-size backlit keyboard suit office work, study sessions and streaming.

36GB DDR4 memory configuration

This unit ships with 36GB of DDR4 RAM composed of 4GB soldered on the motherboard and a 32GB SO-DIMM module. That specific split means total capacity cannot be increased beyond 36GB because the onboard portion is not replaceable. Buyers who need more memory should consider a different platform.

45W adapter with 47 WHr battery

A 45W power supply charges the 3-cell 47 WHr battery that powers the 60Hz panel and integrated Intel UHD Graphics. In typical office use the system runs quietly with modest heat output, while sustained loads will draw the full adapter rating and warm the chassis noticeably.

Questions about this item

How does the 3.6 GHz turbo frequency behave under sustained workloads?

The Core i5-1035G1 can reach 3.6 GHz for short bursts; actual sustained speed depends on the 45 W power supply and 47 Wh battery thermal limits.

What practical throughput does the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port deliver?

The USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port caps at 5 Gbps and supports data, display output and charging within that bandwidth.

Will the 16.00 x 10.06 x 0.62 in chassis fit a standard 17.3" laptop sleeve?

Yes, the dimensions match typical 17.3" sleeves; verify sleeve depth exceeds 0.62 in for a snug fit.
