17.3" FHD IPS laptop with dual storage

The ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 is a 17.3-inch Windows 11 Pro notebook built around a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor, 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a combined 512 GB SATA SSD plus 2 TB hard drive. A 60 Hz IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 handles daily work and media, while Wi‑Fi 6 AX201 and Bluetooth 5.1 manage wireless connectivity. A fingerprint reader and backlit numeric keyboard round out the feature set.

Best for general productivity, not heavy GPU loads

This configuration suits students, office workers and home users who need a large screen, plenty of file space and modern wireless without discrete graphics. The integrated Intel UHD graphics will not satisfy gamers, video editors or 3D designers who require dedicated GPU performance. Buyers who want a touchscreen, an optical drive or a lighter chassis should look elsewhere.

512 GB SATA SSD plus 2 TB HDD decides capacity

The boot drive uses a SATA interface, so its read and write speeds are limited to SATA levels rather than faster PCIe alternatives. If your workflow demands the highest solid-state throughput or a single large SSD, this laptop does not match that requirement. For users who value total storage volume and cost per gigabyte, the dual-drive layout is a practical fit.
