Large-screen laptop for multitasking

The ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 is a 17.3 inch Full HD IPS laptop powered by a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1 four-core processor reaching 3.6 GHz. It carries 36 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB SATA SSD. The configuration suits office work, study and general multitasking on a single large display.

Connectivity and daily ergonomics

A USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1 port, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, two USB 2.0 ports and HDMI handle peripherals and external screens. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 provide modern wireless links. A fingerprint reader, backlit full-size keyboard with numeric keypad and 720p webcam support secure login and video calls. The 47 Whr battery and 45 W adapter supply mobile power.

Upgrade from smaller or slower portables

The 36 GB memory and 2 TB SATA SSD replace the limited RAM and cramped storage found on many entry-level 17 inch models. Buyers moving from an 8 GB or 16 GB machine with a smaller drive gain headroom for heavier workloads. The integrated Intel UHD graphics and 60 Hz panel are not suited for gaming or colour-critical creative work.
