Questions about this item

Will the USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port on this S712JA-WH54 work with my older USB 2.0 peripherals?

Yes, the USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port is backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices, though they will operate at USB 2.0 speeds. The laptop also includes two dedicated USB 2.0 Type-A ports for legacy accessories.

How can I verify the 2TB SATA SSD and 1TB HDD are both recognised after first boot?

Open Windows Disk Management or File Explorer; you should see two separate drive letters totalling roughly 3 TB. The SSD will appear as the boot drive with the Windows 11 Pro installation, while the HDD will show as a secondary data volume.

Which cables or adapters are included in the box for the HDMI and Micro SD slots?

The package supplies the 45 W power adapter and a 3-cell 47 WHr battery installed. No HDMI cable, Micro SD card, or USB-C hub is bundled; those must be purchased separately if required.
