17.3 inch IPS laptop for office work

The ASUS VivoBook S712JA-WH54 is a 17.3 inch full HD IPS laptop powered by a 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor with four cores and a 3.6 GHz turbo frequency. It comes with 12GB of DDR4 memory arranged as 4GB soldered plus an 8GB module and a dual-drive layout of 512GB SATA SSD and 1TB hard drive. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

Suits desk-based users who want a large screen.

The 17.3 inch display and 5.06lb weight make this machine practical for a fixed desk or occasional room-to-room moves, while the integrated Intel UHD graphics and 60Hz panel cover everyday productivity, web browsing and video playback. Buyers who need a lightweight device for daily commuting or who require discrete graphics for rendering or gaming should look at other form factors.

Dual-drive storage decides fit

The combination of a 512GB SATA SSD for the operating system and applications plus a 1TB hard drive for bulk files is the single specification that determines whether this configuration matches your workflow; if your dataset exceeds the SSD capacity and you prefer all-flash storage, a different storage layout would be required.
